Children's Photographer Montgomery, IL | Alex's Airplane Session

I have been looking forward to doing a session like this since the day I found out I was having a boy.  A couple of years ago, I got my husband flight lessons for his birthday and when we showed up I knew it was the perfect place to have a session for my little boy. I mean,  how cool is this vintage T-6 Texan?

When we arrived for the session Alex's eyes lit up with excitement.  The last time he was on a plane was a year ago, and he was too young to remember.

I just love the way these turned out.  I can't wait to order some prints for his airplane themed room!

An airplane in the hangar across from us actually took off mid session. He was mesmerized.

I received an e-mail from Jen a few months ago asking about a family portrait session.  I was beyond excited to get to photograph this lovely family again.  See, Jen & Mike were my first ever wedding clients back in 2008!  It was wonderful to see them all again and meet their new little guy. They are such a fun group. The cold and the rain didn't stop us from having a great time. Here are some photos from their session.  Looking forward to another session with you guys!

I FINALLY HAVE A BLOG!

YEP! I finally caved.  I had been putting it off for so long because, quite frankly, I didn't think I could keep up with the work entailed with updating a blog.  As some of you may know, I'm a wife and mom of three (technically four if you include the fur baby), so it can get a little crazy around here.  But I feel that becoming a mom of three has boosted my productivity and time management, believe it or not.  That, and the fact that I've been home a lot hiding from this extremely cold weather. ;) So with that said... what a better way to kick off my new blog than to introduce you to the newest member of my family.  Angelina was born on October 18, 2013.  Not only was this day special because its the day she arrived, but because its my grandmother's birthday. How cool is that?? Same birthday, 91 years apart.  I can't wait for Grandma to visit so I can get pictures of them together.
